WSW with maintenance-free bearing L048® competitive in the premium segment

Developed for spherical bearings
WSW-Wälzlager has developed the new sliding material for spherical plain bearings with the description L048®. It is available in all dimensions, as well as for plain bearings and bushings. Before the market launch the performance of the new product was tested at a leading tribology institute and of course also in field tests. The know-how lies in the manufacture and processing of the sliding fabric and in the selection of components. The sliding insert is a PTFE cotton fabric, which is made on a special weaving machine. In addition to the important selection of the components, other processes are important when optimizing the performance, including coating the fabric with glue and applying the fabric to the carrier.
